The Artists WIndow at 17th and Chestnut Street

This December 2010 until January 2011, I will be exhibiting my artwork in the large panoramic thirty foot window display at Daffy's on 11th and Chestnut Street in Center City Philadelphia. It's a wonderful opportunity to share my artwork with thousands of people walking past that busy intersection everyday. It's really great that a retail business such as Daffy's gives up valuable store window display space to promote regional artists. The Artists Window display space is really cool.

Drew Struzan the legendary movie poster artist has released the most incredible DVD

The DVD is amazing and shows an in depth look into creating film poster art. I'm so incredibly honored that he chose my words as a testimonial for his new exciting DVD on the making of the Hellboy film poster. The new DVD on the market is from www.reelideas.com and it's amazing. It's an inspiring piece of work from Drew Struzan that shows his technique from start to finish and the thought process of creating his iconic images for film posters.He is the most recognized film poster artist of all time. I have watched this DVD several times and it's a real treat.

Roy Lichtenstein

My father and Roy Lichtenstein were teamed together during WWII as they were members of the 69th Infantry Division Engineer Battalion. They worked together on maps, scale models and art services for the division.

2008 Art Institute of Philadelphia Career Showcase Award in Visual Communications

I'm very thankful to the Art Institute for this once in a lifetime award for a creative body of work.

There are many more projects on the horizon and I currently have several underway. I look forward to 2009.

Moore College of Art - I have joined the faculty at Moore College of Art as an adjunct professor in Moore’s exceptional illustration department. Moore is celebrating its 160^th year as the nation’s first and only arts college for women. Moore College of Art was founded in 1848 and continues to be a leader in the visual arts. I’m honored to have been selected.
